Hi!. Welcome to this space.
Let me introduce myself.
I am Paula, a Hatha Yoga teacher, trained at the International Yoga School (EIY), with a certified degree (400h) by the Yoga Alliance, the European Yoga Federation and the Spanish Federation of Professional Yoga and as a Prenatal Yoga teacher at the Yoga Sin Fronteras organization.
I was born in Madrid and had the luck to live my childhood and adolescence in the countryside, until I moved to Madrid to start my university studies, where I currently live.
I am a nature lover and I love to travel and discover new cultures and places. I am very committed to the protection of the biodiversity and human rights. Reasons why I studied the Environmental Sciences degree and completed a master in International Development Cooperation. Professionally, since I finished my studies I have dedicated myself to sustainability and social innovation issues, a facet that I currently combine with my other two passions: dance and Yoga.
I like to define myself as passionate about movement and body expression. I have always been a very active person; I have always loved theater, cinema, sports and dance. With an adventurous, joyful and pretty perfectionist personality, life hit me hard when I lost my father (my main personal reference) when I was only 22 years old because of ALS. This fact made me think deeply over the years and it changed my way of seeing and being in the world. I have learned the value of truly soaking up every moment as it unfolds, making me somehow more aware of the importance of living life every day as a gift and always acting from a place of love.
Before Yoga, dance came into my life. I am a tribal fusion bellydancer and teacher. In addition, I like to dance other styles such contemporary, urban and aerial dance. It was during my dance classes that I first knew about Yoga. It was from sun salutations and other asanas that my teachers proposed us to start and finish class that I experienced what Yoga was about. However, it wasn’t until few years later, in 2016, when I started practicing Yoga properly.
Yoga fascinated me. From that point on, I was hooked! It came at a time in my life when I had been dealing with a high professional burden linked to stress for some years and I remember leaving my first classes “floating” and genuinely calm and happy. From those first classes, I committed myself to its practice, until at a certain moment when I had the need to continue deepening into my personal practice and into the knowledge of Yoga in a more comprehensive way, that I decided to complete a Yoga teacher training. Excited by the possibility of sharing to others the magic of this practice and its benefits, between the years 2018/2020, I completed my YTT and continue my training. Since then I haven’t stopped learning in order to improve my skills as a teacher.
My personal practice comes mainly from Hatha, Vinyasa and Jivamukti Yoga. Although, I really enjoy practice other styles, such Acroyoga or Rocket, among others. From the moment I completed my YTT, Yoga became an essential part of my life.
Training:

My mission
To share the Yoga practice and its benefits
Taking into account the current context we live in, I seek to encourage and help people to improve their life and live in a more healthy way. In order to achieve that, I am totally committed to keep learning, evolving and enjoying in my own practice and master my teacher skills.
Yoga is for all, so my goal is to offer its practice in the most openness, respectful and inclusive way, embracing and celebrating diversity.
Many people have played an important role in my way as a Yogi, teachers, yoga-mates, family, my partner, friends and of course, my students, those that choose to practice with me. I want to show my deep gratitude to all of them: you all are light on my way.
Namaste.
